This vivid cool-white is inspired by the Italian “white city,” Ostuni. The medieval walled city is made up of stark white washed buildings sitting atop a hill with views of a beautiful countryside. The history behind the white walls is actually attributed to a plague in the 17th century. Apparently homes that were painted white had less illness and the locals believed it to be a miracle.
